Local Package

MeowLink supports all-in-one setups, like today’s macOS desktop app, and also supports more flexible deployments. Run it as a local network of Hub Core and plugin nodes, with each function, node, or plugin on the hardware that fits it best.

• Hub Core: keep an old Android phone, Raspberry Pi, or mini PC plugged in as the 24/7 home hub.
• Camera/NVR plugin: run it on a NAS or storage box near your cameras and recordings.
• Local LLM plugin: run it on a Mac or desktop machine with the right CPU/GPU memory.
• Device bridge plugins: run Matter, Thread, or niche-device drivers on the gateway hardware that talks to those devices.
